As a former budget bride, I know the struggle it takes to make it all work on limited funds. Just six short years ago my husband & I experienced the sticker shock that comes along with planning your big day. Like many of you, we really had to evaluate what we needed vs. what we wanted. When it came down to it the bar was at the top of the list.

At that time I had been a bartender for over 10 years so a DIY bar seemed like a no brainer. I had a pool of talented bartender friends that I had worked with over the...

Happy 2019! We are so happy to have taken a little siesta after a whirlwind 2018 and are feeling refreshed and ready to take on 2019. I've spent the last week or so ironing out the details of our 2019 cocktail menu. This is just a guideline for our clients. These are cocktails that we feel like are tasty and that we do really well. We certainly are always willing to go outside of this list if you don't see what you are looking for.

While skimming the list you'll see that we try to incorporate local beers, spririts, mix...

Just a few months after we launched in early 2016, a newly engaged bride reached out to me and asked to book a date in April 2018. It felt like eons away, but we were so exctied especially because it was just outside Nashville, Tennessee. Secretly I was terrified we wouldn't be in business, but YAY...we made it! This past weekend we packed up our crew and headed down to work a little and play a lot. Nashville did not disappoint. Thank you to Mr & Mrs. Pogue for invitng us along!

We put a lot of love and heart into Ruthie and Birdie and expect no less with Big Red. We started on the project this past weekend. Check  it out....

Nothing could beat the awesomeness that was 2016 for us. We unveiled two mobile bars within 3 months of one another and it was nothing short of incredible. We set a goal and we freaking did it! Next up...our girl, Red.

We met some amazing people a long the way...like really, really amazing people. People that invested in this little idea and helped us to make it grow. Year 2 is dedicated to making connections and collaboration. I mean, what brings people together more than a bar? We consider ourselves to be some of the...

We have just been so dang sad all week. We are just heartsick over the tragic events that seem to just keep getting worse. Our minds have been consumed with what has unfolded and pray for peace and understanding.

So like all of you we are feeling a little lost this past week. I really didn't know what to do with myself so I decided just to do something uplifting. No, my stupid deal doesn't change a damn thing. It doesn't even matter a little bit, but maybe it'll make someone happy today. I guess that is...

Two weeks ago I was just sitting on my bum brainstorming about how to get out there and be seen. With a small (teeny-tiny, actually) budget its hard to market beyond social media. Business cards, marketing packets, and t-shirts are one thing, but the "big dog" marketing...print and tv are out of reach for a small company like us. I'll be honest, my expectations weren't soaring. It stinks to know you have something really special and don't have the resources to get it out there in a big way....

I had seen photos of the progression for weeks, but nothing prepared me for what I saw when we drove up that windy driveway in Arkansas. My stomach was still queazy from those Ozark Mountain roads, my eyes welled with tears, and I gave a tiny gasp and covered my mouth. All I could think was HOLY SHIT!  There it was. Our little camper dreams were just sitting there right in front of our teary eyes.

The only way to explain our feelings toward this little camper is just complete love. Every littl...

I have profound thoughts occasionally, but let's be honest, these days my life consists mostly of wrangling tiny toddlers & deciphering twin talk. Life is a little messy & a lot of chaos, but when the kids are asleep and I'm snuggled up watching Bravo, I realize that I have it good. Like really, really good. Am I always feeling grateful and eternally optimistic? Hell no, it's work to remind yourself that the big things in life are family, friendships, & health. I have all of those things. I just know that I am lucky t...
